Did you know that felt is a non-woven textile? Felt is parallelised wool fibres that are joined together. We make our felts from pure new wool. On a card, the fibres are aligned (parallelised) and joined together (needled). They are then felted seamlessly by hand over a last and then rolled. The fulling process gives the slipper its shape and the wool fibres are anchored together. This makes the material robust and durable.
