The Kauns crocodile slipper for children with a crocodile appliqué made from organic sheep's wool is the perfect companion for all animal lovers and adventurers. Whether at nursery or at home, your child will love this comfortable slipper. The upper material of these slippers for children is made from organic whale fabric, made from sheep's wool, produced in our factory in Tyrol. The patented felt latex sole is non-slip, quiet and ensures safe walking on any surface. The soft knitted cuff makes putting them on and taking them off child's play. Nevertheless, the ribbed cuff ensures a good grip on the child's foot. Sheep's wool is warming, temperature-regulating and comfortable to wear. The slipper with the crocodile appliqué can be washed in the washing machine on a gentle cycle at 30°C.

Wool & resources

Yarn from sheep

We only use natural new wool from sheep. Virgin wool is the shorn wool from live sheep. The wool is felted in our factory in Tyrol, Austria, without the use of any chemicals. In this way, we reduce the environmental impact to a minimum. Gottstein stands for a nature-loving and home-loving manufacturer who is prepared to take responsibility for our environment. The guiding principle of our company has always been a quote from Charles Darwin: "Anything that is against nature will not last in the long run".
As a family business from Austria, we have been working for generations only with materials that nature has given us. In addition to our fine virgin wool, we use natural materials such as natural cork, natural latex and vegetable-tanned leather for the production of our felt slippers.
